Geri has been a
professional artist for 50 years, first as a commercial
artist in the Midwest working at various art studios and
advertising agencies. After moving to Montana she began her new
career in fine art, painting the Indians of the Pacific
Northwest and Canada and also commissioned portraits. Her work
found enthusiastic response from private collectors, art dealers
that took her work all over the United States and galleries in
the United States and Canada.
done hundreds of commissioned portraits, both animals and
people, paintings of the Southwest and Southwest Flora. Geri
looks forward to hearing from you to discuss doing a portrait of
you, your loved ones, and/or your pets.
got excited about doing gourd art after her move to Arizona and
a visit to the Wuertz gourd farm in Casa Grande. The gourds are
an exciting canvas for her and she finds the gourd an exciting
and wonderful way to express herself, getting lost for hours in
the design, carving, woodburning and painting of the gourd with
it's different shapes and forms. Her gourds can also be
commissioned and she has done many by commission if you have a
particular need and don't see it on this website. She also
delights in doing various other art projects, some of which are
shown on here.
